Maxime P. Kien, ACF, is the Culinary Director and Executive Chef at The Highlawn, appointed in late 2024. Born in the Côte d’Azur region of Southern France, he brings over two decades of fine‐dining experience spanning luxury hotels and restaurants across Europe and the U.S., with a philosophy rooted in seasonality, elegance, and flavor precision. At The Highlawn, he elevates the menu by merging classic French techniques with New American influences, ensuring each dish is not just a meal but a showcase of craftsmanship and sense of place.
